Slow Dance

Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Dont dance so fast.Time is short.
The music wont last.
Do you run through each day On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores Running through your head?
Ever told your child,We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,Not see his sorrow?
You'd better slow down.
Dont dance so fast.Time is short.
The music wont last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day.
It is like an unopened gift... Thrown away.
Life is not a race Do take it slower.
Hear the music
Before the song is over!

Anticipate a Good Outcome

All of us want to do the best we can with our lives.Life on earth is short at best, and if there are 75 or 50 or even 25 yrs behind you,and you are not satisfied that you have lived a creative life, you'd better get busy.
Even though life is uncertain and insecure,it has tremendous possibilities,no matter how old you are,or who you are.Among the great principles that make life worthwhile is the anticipation of a good outcome. This is a subtle principle of creative living.
We tend to draw back to ourselves that which we project in thought. If u send out a certain thought pattern continually,u r likely to draw back to urself that same thought pattern.
If you constantly project an image of bad outcomes, this is indeed a dangerous procedure;for it can,in effect, produce the kind of outcomes u project. If,on the contrary,u learn the great, vital and dynamic principle of anticipating good outcomes, then by a subtlety of the mind u set forces in motion that tend to produce good outcomes.
Are u thinking in terms of constructive anticipation or desructive anticipation? The Bible says much about this in many different ways.
In Mark11:24 it says,"Therefore,I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it,and it will be yours."(RSV)That is a tremendous offer!
